DURHAM, N.C. -- The Duke baseball team's 2008 season opener scheduled for Friday, Feb. 22, at 3 p.m. at Jack Coombs Field has been postponed due to inclement weather.

The game was to be the first of a four-game series against Iona, but has been rescheduled for Sunday, Feb. 24, as the second part of a double header. Sunday's contests will now begin at 11 a.m. instead of the original start time of noon. Saturday's twinbill against the Gaels will continue as planned, with the first game beginning at noon. All four games will be nine-inning affairs.
