DURHAM, N.C.-- The Duke women's soccer program has added another standout recruiting class this year under the direction of head coach Robbie Church. This spring and summer is taking a closer look at each of the 2013 incoming freshmen.

The sixth of seven signees is Malinda Allen, who is a product of Memphis, Tenn.  Allen is currently ranked No. 65 in the latest listings.  She competed for both the Brentwood Premier '94 and the Concorde Fire '95 club teams, while leading the squads to the USYS Tennessee State Championship in 2010, 2011 and 2012.  Allen was a standout basketball player averaging a Memphis-best 32.4 points a game as a senior.

One possession you cannot live without? I don't have one prized item. I like to be flexible.
What is something people don't know about you? I have never had the opportunity to play soccer for my school.

Do you have any hidden talents? Art
Do you have any idea what you would like to major in at Duke? I’m not quite sure yet, but maybe sports management or finance.
