2013-14: Consistently in Duke’s top-three finishers throughout the fall season…led Duke to a third-place finish at the Furman XC Challenge (9/14) after placing sixth overall with an 8K time of 24:08.58…garnered All-ACC honors after crossing the line as the 20th finisher at the ACC Championships (11/1)…guided the Blue Devils to an eighth-place finish at the Southeast Region Championships (11/15), placing 26th in a personal best 10K time of 29:51.6…Indoors, focused primarily on the 5,000…placed fourth at the Armory Collegiate Invitational (2/7) in the 5,000 with a time of 14:11.27…qualified for the ACC Indoor Championships (2/28), placing 10th with a converted time of 14:07.95…Outdoors, earned second-team All-America honors after placing 14th in the 10,000 at the NCAA Outdoor Championships (6/11)…clocked the fourth-fastest 10,000 time in program history, crossing the line in a time of 29:27.85 at the Raleigh Relays (3/28)…qualified for the ACC Outdoor Championships (4/17), placing seventh with a 10,000m time of 29:37.46.
2012-13: Duke’s top finisher at the NCAA Cross Country Championships meet, finishing 129th in a personal-best 30:58.8 on the 10K course in Louisville ... took 53rd at the NCAA Southeast Regional Championship with a time of 31:23.23 ... second Blue Devil to cross the line at the ACC Championships, coming in 17th overall ... clocked a personal-best 24:02.1 for 8K to place 48th at the NCAA Pre-Nationals meet ... started off the fall with a third-place showing at the Virginia Tech Alumni Invitational ... earned a spot on the All-ACC Academic Cross Country team...Indoors, specialized in the 5,000 meters throughout the season…clocked a personal-best 14:10.73 to win the Virginia Tech Invitational and rank fourth on Duke’s all-time list…finished 15th at the ACC Indoor Championships with a time of 14:53.69…Outdoors, competed in both the 5,000 and 10,000….qualified for the NCAA East First Round in the 5,000 where he finished 26th with a time of 14:27.09…he clocked his season-best time at the Duke Invitational, where he ran14:12.64 to finish seventh overall…finished sixth in the 10,000 at the ACC Outdoor Championships, clocking a time of 30:06.35… a few weeks later ran a personal-best time of 29:56.70 at the Virginia Challenge.
2011-12: Started off the fall with a fifth-place finish at the James Madison Invitational, logging a time of 25:13.3 for 7.9K...turned in a top-10 showing at the Panorama Farms Invitational...season best for 8K came at the ACC Cross Country Championships, where he finished 23rd in 24:10.5...clocked 31:16.3 on the 10K course to help Duke place sixth at the NCAA Southeast Regional...indoors, ran a personal best 14:13.95 in the 5,000 meters to place third at the New Balance Collegiate...finished eighth at the ACC Indoor Championships with a time of 14:28.79...outdoors, ran a personal best 14:15.50 to finish ninth at the Duke Invitational...came in 12th place in the 10,000m at the ACC Outdoor Championships...earned All-East honors with a third-place finish in the 10,000m by running a season-best 30:14.05...named to the All-ACC Academic Cross Country Team...also awarded a spot on the ACC Academic Honor Roll.
2010-11: Made his Duke cross country debut at the N.C. Central Dual Meet, running 11:58 over 4K to finish second...clocked a season-best 25:10.00 over 8K at the Wake Forest Dual...was Duke's third man at the Pack Invitational, placing fourth out of 27...earned All-East honors with a sixth-place finish in 25:10.7 to help the Blue Devils captured their third consecutive IC4A Championship...indoors, ran 14:42.98 for 5,000 meters to finish third at the Hokie Invite...during the outdoor season, placed 17th in the 10,000-meters at the ACC Championships, clocking 31:10.63...recorded a time of 14:39.45 to take 14th in the 5,000m at the Duke Invitational.
Prior to Duke: Four-year letterwinner at Melbourne...three-time state champion in both cross country and track & field...2009 Great American Cross Country Festival champion...2008 NXN Regional champion and national qualifier...2009 Footlocker qualifier, finishing in 23rd place at the Footlocker Nationals...two-time Gatorade Florida Cross Country Runner of the Year...National Honor Society member...AP Scholar Award recipient.
