Honors: ACC Academic Honor Roll (2012)

2011-12: Finished the season in top form, advancing to the finals of the 200 breast and 200 IM at the ACC Championships ... finished 23rd in the 200 IM finals after clocking 1:50.75 in the event prelims to improve upon his previous personal best by nearly two seconds ... also collected a personal best in the 200 breast prelims (2:04.71) en route to a 24th-place finish in the finals and posted a personal best time of 4:02.02 in the 400 IM prelims ... swam the third leg of the Blue Devils' 800 free relay that posted an NCAA provisional time of 6:38.49 in an eighth-place performance at the conference meet ... earned top-20 finishes in the 400 IM (4:05.52) and the 100 breast (58.41) at the Nike Cup Invitational ... also tapped the wall at 4:41.11 in the 500 free prelims for a new personal best ... took third in the 500 free (4:44.15) in the season opener against Maryland ... named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll.

2010-11: Ended his freshman campaign with a 29th-place finish in the prelims of the 200 IM at the ACC Championships ... posted a time of 1:52.42 in that performance for a lifetime best and Duke's best mark of the season ... narrowly missed the cut for the men's 100 breast final at the conference meet by .5 seconds, finishing 26th with a lifetime-best time of 57.05 ... took third in the 100 breast at the College Cup Invitational.
