2015: A reliable member of the 2V8 during the season … started the campaign against Clemson and Boston University and helped the crew place fourth in both races with times of 6:56.82 and 7:02.70 … helped 2V8 advance to the Jackie Ann Stitt Hungness Grand Final at the San Diego Crew Classic by placing third in the preliminary heat in 8:06.96 … group finished sixth in the grand final … in three races at the Clemson Invitational against seven ranked squads, helped the 2V8 place second to Louisville (6:54.3), fifth (6:49.8) and fourth (6:48.0) … part of one of Duke’s two boats to race in the ACC Championship Grand Final as a member of the 2V8, which got there by taking third in its preliminary heat with a time of 6:33.9 … group placed sixth (6:44.9) in the Grand Final.
2013-14: Part of the 2V8 for three races at the season-opening Cardinal Invitational … a key member of the 2V8 that placed third (6:59.90) against Clemson, Iowa, Kansas, Buffalo and Purdue, finishing only behind the Tigers and Hawkeyes … a member of the 2V8 that downed No. 20 Oregon State’s crew at the Oregon State Classic with a time of 6:41.8 … competed with the 2V8 at the UVA Invite, where the boat finished in 7:11.4 in the morning session and 7:07.8 in the second session … in the ACC Championship Grand Final, was a member of the Blue Devils’ 2V8 crew that placed sixth.
2012-13: Competed with the 2V4 at the Clemson Invitational.
Fall 2012: Won gold with Duke’s Championship 8 entry at the Head of the Hooch...powered the V8 to a 10th-place finish out of 55 entries at the Princeton Chase.
Prep: Three-year letterwinner at Shenendehowa High School in Clifton Park, N.Y....helped the Shenendehowa 1V8 to three straight top-three finishes in the state and sectional competitions...led the V8 to a third-place finish in the state competition, second in sectionals and 15th in the national competition...notched a third-place finish at the Head of the Housatonic and seventh at the head of the Charles as a senior...as a junior, powered the V8 to a fifth-place finish at the Canadian nationals, second in the state competition and seventh in the national competition...as a sophomore, helped the U17 8+ win the CSSRA Canadian Nationals...received the White Letter Award for Outstanding Commitment to a Team in 2011...member of the National Honor Society...member of the high honor roll for all four years.
