2015: Started at attack in all 18 games … Ranked second on the team in goals with 47 and third in points with 60 … 47 goals rank 14th in Duke single season history … Ranked fourth in the ACC and 20th nationally in goals per game (2.61) … Scored a team-high five man-up goals … Had at least three goals nine times … Tallied a career-high seven goals in the 15-8 win over ACC foe Virginia (4/12) to help clinch a spot in the ACC Tournament … Garnered ACC and national player of the week honors following his performance against the Cavaliers … The seven goals were the most since Zach Howell had seven in 2011 … Registered five scores in the ACC Championship versus Syracuse (4/26) … Named to the ACC All-Tournament team have his six points on the weekend … Also had five goals and six points overall in Duke’s 17-11 win at Stony Brook (4/15) … Had at least one point in all 18 games and a goal in 16 … Registered multiple goals in 12 outings … ACC Honor Roll.

Prep: A four-year letterwinner for Mike Hoppey at Ward Melville … A two-time high school All-American … Amassed 109 goals and 85 assists for 294 points in his scholastic career … Earned first team All-Metro  honors in 2013 after tallying 58 goals and 38 assists … Led Ward Melville to the Class A  New York State Championship in 2013 … Also selected to the 2013 Under Armour All-America squad and named the 2013 Team Freedom Most Valuable Player at the Champion Lacrosse Showcase … Had 39 goals and 29 assists as a junior to earn second team All-Metro recognition … Named to the All-County squad as a sophomore …  Also lettered three years in soccer as a goalie … Named all-league and all-county  during his soccer career.

Personal: Son of John and Helene Bruckner … father played football at the United State Merchant Marine Academy and was inducted into the USMMA Hall of Fame in 2007 … Uncle, Nick played football at Syracuse and played three seasons with the New York Jets in the NFL … Sister, Amber, is a senior captain of the Wesleyan College field hockey team, while other sister, Helene, played field hockey for C.W. Post.
