Cal Dearth is the team’s top scorer with 24 points on 11 goals and 13 assists ... Sam Tenney and Ryan Johnston lead the Terriers in the goal scoring category with 15 apiece ... Greg Wozniak anchors the defensive effort with 21 caused turnovers and 29 ground balls ... At the X Sam Talkow has taken all but 18 of the draws and sports a .571 success rate (144-of-252) ... In goal, Christian Carson has played the majority of minutes with a 10.00 goals against average and a .531 save percentage ... BU is averaging 6.92 goals per game and is 0-7 at home.

Quartet Earns All-ACC; Wolf ACC Offensive Player Of The Year
Seniors Brendan Fowler and Jordan Wolf and sophomores Deemer Class and Myles Jones were voted to the All-ACC team by the leagues’s coaches ... Wolf becomes the first Blue Devil in porgram history to earn the honor four times, while Fowler captures his second all-conference accolade ... Class and Jones pick up their first awards as two of the four sophomores represented on the list … Wolf also garnered the ACC Offensive Player of the Year award in a vote of the coaches following the ACC Tournament.
 
Trio Named Tewaaraton Nominees
Senior Jordan Wolf and sophomores Deemer Class and Myles Jones recently were among the 28 selected as Tewaaraton Award nominees ... Class and Jones are two of four sophomores represented, while Duke’s three nominees are tied with Loyola for the most for one school ... Finalists will be announced May 8.

Duke is 58-58-1 all-time in the month of May ... The Blue Devils are 24-5 in the fifth month of the  year under head coach John Danowski with all five setbacks coming in either the NCAA semifinals or NCAA Championship game ... Duke’s last regular season loss in May was in 2004, a 13-7 setback at Army.
 
Duke Midfield Among The Best
In the past six games, Duke’s first midfield line of Deemer Class, Myles Jones and Christian Walsh have amassed 86 points (47g, 39a) ... The trio registered 23 against Syracuse, 13 more versus Harvard and Notre Dame, 17 at Virginia, 12 versus Rutgers and seven against Syracuse ... Overall, the trio has combined for 131 points (73g, 58a), tops in points among all midfield lines and second in points per game behind Princeton.

Charlie Payton Carrying Two Sticks
If you think you see senior Charlie Payton donning both a short stick and a long pole during the course of a game your eyes are not deceiving you ... Payton will man the faceoff wings with a pole and also play short-stick d-middie for the Blue Devils over the course of the four quarters.
 
Wolf/Dionne On Scoring Streaks
With a goal and four assists against Syracuse, Jordan Wolf extended his nation’s-best point scoring streak to 56 games and his goal streak to 17 games ... Josh Dionne’s hat trick against the Orange pushed his point streak to 32 games ... Wolf’s 17-game goal scoring streak is seventh among active players and Dionne’s point run is 12th ... In Wolf’s scoring stretch, he has 136 goals and 86 assists for 222 points, while Dionne has 81 goals and 92 points overall... Wolf has failed to score a point in just five games in his career, and Duke is 1-4 in those contests ... Wolf was last held without a point his rookie season in the 2011 NCAA semifinal against Maryland - May 28, 2011.

Fowler Picking Up Where He Left Off
After setting the NCAA single-season record for faceoff victories in 2013, senior Brendan Fowler has picked up where he left off for the Blue Devils ... Fowler has taken all but 34 faceoffs this season and sports a .612 success rate ... He has picked up ground balls on 144 of his 226 faceoff wins (63 percent) ... For his career he has 741 faceoff victories and a .618 faceoff percentage ... Fowler is in just his second season as Duke’s faceoff leader having taken just 31 percent of the draws in 2011 and 2012.
