DURHAM, N.C. - Junior Nick McCrory was named the Atlantic Coast Conference Male Diver of the Week for the second time this season, as announced Tuesday by the conference office.
McCrory paced the Blue Devil diving corps in last Saturday's regular season dual meet finale at North Carolina, sweeping the men's 1-meter and 3-meter springboard competitions. The Chapel Hill, N.C., native posted season-highs and NCAA Zone Diving Championship qualifying marks in both events, garnering a score of 404.70 on the 1-meter board and a score of 416.25 at the 3-meter height.
Following last weekend's action, McCrory currently leads the ACC in 1-meter springboard diving and ranks fourth in the 3-meter event.
McCrory and the Duke divers return to action Feb. 20-23 at the ACC Championships in Greensboro, N.C.
