KINGSTON SPRINGS, TENN. -- Duke concluded stroke play at the DICK'S Sporting Goods Collegiate Challenge Cup at the Golf Club of Tennessee in ninth place with an 897 (+45). Junior Turner Southey-Gordon was the Blue Devils' top finisher at tied for 26th with a six-over 219.

Georgia won the stroke-play portion of the event with an 832 finishing five shots better than Texas A&M. Clemson (849) placed third with Tennessee (858) and Vanderbilt (859) rounding out the top five. Ben Crancer (Texas A&M) claimed individual medalist honors with a 16-under 197, seven shot clear of Joey Garber of Georgia.

Southey-Gordon posted a three-over 74 Saturday to pace Duke during a team round of 313. Sophomore Motin Yeung tied for 32nd overall with a 10-over 223, including a 78 in the final round of stroke-play.

Yaroslav Merkulov, a senior from Penfield, N.Y., posted an 81 Saturday to tie for 36th with a 227. Freshman Max Greyserman turned in rounds of 72-77-80 to finish 40th, while junior Michael Ricaurte shot 78-76-92 to place 50th.

Duke faces Vanderbilt Sunday in match play on the final day of competition.
