Honors: ACC Academic Honor Roll (2013)
2012-13: Finished the season at the ACC Championships, placing 21st in the 200 freestyle ... Touched in a personal-best time of 1:38.58 in the event preliminaries ... also registered best times in the 100 (45.61) and 500 freestyle (4:29.76) ... Took fourth in the 200 freestyle against Florida State, UNC Wilmington and Virginia Tech (1:42.14) ... Competed on Duke’s 400 freestyle relay throughout the regular season.
2011-12: Began his collegiate career with a sixth-place showing in the 500 freestyle against Maryland ... Took third in the 200 freestyle against reigning ACC champion Virginia ... Finished second in the same event against Clemson a week later, tapping the wall at 1:42.57 ... Logged several season bests at the Virginia Tech Invitational, including a 1:41.17 swim in the preliminaries of the 200 freestyle and a 4:38.94 performance in the 500 freestyle preliminaries.
