Juniors Grace Christus and Devon Gagliardi spent six weeks studying abroad in Rome, Italy earlier this summer.  During their time, they both took two classes and went on several weekend trips to various destinations such as Barcelona, Florence, Venice, Milan, Tuscany and Pompeii.

Check out the note below from Grace and the photo gallery attached to learn about their many adventures.

Hey Duke FH Fans,

After seven weeks abroad filled with culture, history, and unforgettable experiences, it is safe to say Devon and I are changed young women! Rome is one of the most historic and absolutely beautiful cities in the world. The sights I visited, the friends I made, and the great times I was fortunate enough to share with my teammate will be with me for the rest of my life. Studying in Rome was a once in a lifetime experience, from walking through thousand year old ruins to swimming in the clear blue Mediterranean waters. I loved every minute of my time in Italy but its great to be back in the USA and preparing for the 2012 season with my teammates. Its going to be an exciting year for Duke Field Hockey and I can't wait until our whole family is reunited and back to work in August!

Duke True,
Grace Christus
