Ferger Selected for 2010 NFHCA Division I Senior Game

DURHAM, N.C. – Duke senior forward Susan Ferger has been selected to participate in the 2010 NFHCA Division I Senior Game as announced by the organization today, Tuesday, Nov. 2. The Division I Senior Game will be played Saturday, Nov. 20 on the campus of the University of Maryland in College Park, Md. Game time will be announced 7-10 days prior to the event.

Duke’s Ferger, a forward from Columbus, Ohio, has been a four-year starter with the Blue Devils, amassing 27 goals, eight assists and 62 points during her time in Durham. She was an All-South honoree in 2007 and has earned NFHCA Academic All-America recognition in her career.

This year’s Senior Game participants will face off against the U.S. Women’s National Team as well as against each other in a series of four, 25-minute sessions as follows:

- Senior Game Participants (Home) vs. Senior Game Participants (Away)
- Senior Game Participants (Home) vs. U.S. Women’s National Team (Away)
- Senior Game Participants (Away) vs. U.S. Women’s National Team (Home)
- Senior Game Participants (Home) vs. Senior Game Participants (Away)

In addition, the Blue Devils will play in the ACC Tournament this Thursday, Nov. 4 at 3:30 p.m., as Duke takes on Virginia in the quarterfinal round at Wake Forest’s Kentner Stadium.
