DURHAM, N.C. – The Duke field hockey program, under the guidance of head coach Pam Bustin, is set to hold its annual Winter Weekend Saturday, Feb. 26 through Sunday, Feb. 27 at the University’s West Campus turf fields.

The two-day camp, which is open to all middle and high school athletes, will focus both on skill development as well as tactics and game strategy. The clinic begins Saturday at 9:30 a.m. with skills instruction and will conclude each day with scrimmage and game situations to improve players’ tactical knowledge.

The Duke Winter Weekend also gives campers the opportunity to learn from one of the elite programs in the nation as Bustin offers a wealth of both coaching and playing experience at the collegiate and international levels. Assistant coach Jarred Martin, a current member of the U.S. Men’s National Team, also brings his immense international playing experience to the table, joining Bustin and the entire Duke field hockey team as instructors for the 2011 clinic.
