Why did you choose Duke? I felt it was the best place for me. I love the sports environment and the support given by the whole student body. It is a fantastic opportunity to receive an amazing education while playing for a national championship.
What does it mean to be a part of the Duke Field Hockey Team? I will be part of a family. The girls are very close and work well together on an off the field. With the coaches leading the way I think we are going to have a great season.
What is your Most Memorable field hockey moment? Playing in the youth Pan American Games in Uruguay. The U17 team had to beat Uruguay in order to move on to play Argentina. The game was intense and equally matched. The home team had an advantage with the screaming fans that yelled to the USA team in Spanish. The game was under the lights and was by far the most satisfying game to win.
Significance of your jersey number? The number was worn by my Aunt Meghan in both High School and College...I wear it to carry on the tradition.
