NORFOLK, Va. – The Duke field hockey program will be making its first appearance in the NCAA semifinals since 2006 Friday, Nov. 22 at 2 p.m. when it takes the field against top-seeded Maryland. The game will be streamed live on NCAA.com.

The Blue Devils arrived in Norfolk Wednesday evening and spent Thursday making final preparations for their semifinal matchup with the Terrapins. Head coach Pam Bustin’s squad practiced at the facilities at L.R. Hill Sports Complex Thursday morning before attending the NCAA Championship banquet in the evening along with other institutions from Divisions I, II and III. The banquet was held at the Virginia Beach Convention Center and featured a dinner and social gathering as well as an inspirational speech from Navy Lieutenant Ashley Pelzek.

Following the banquet, the Blue Devil Network caught up with several members of the team to get their thoughts on the day and the NCAA Championship weekend experience.
