Duke Rowing to Compete in Dual Meet in Ithaca, N.Y.

DURHAM, N.C. - Coming off their third place finish at the ACC Championships, the Duke rowing team will travel to Ithaca, N.Y. on Saturday April 30, to compete in a double dual meet against the University of Iowa and Bucknell University.

The Blue Devils will enter three boats into the race, two varsity eight's and a varsity four. The competition will take place on the Cayuga Lake Inlet, beginning at approximately 8 a.m., with the afternoon final rounds starting at 12:30 p.m. The winners of the morning races will advance to the top race in the afternoon, while second place finishers in the morning will advance to a consolation final.

The Blue Devils will also enter a third varsity eight boat into the lightweight competition against the University of Rhode Island and the University at Buffalo, also racing on a separate stretch of the Cayuga Inlet on Saturday.
