DURHAM, N.C. - The Duke rowing team will hold its annual Row For The Cure Ergathon on Tuesday, Oct. 29, on the main quad of the West Campus of Duke University to raise money for Susan G. Komen for the Cure. The event will run from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The six-hour event will feature the Duke rowing team training on ergs with six members at a time for one hour shifts. The team will also sell t-shirts and baked goods while collecting on-campus donations from Duke students, faculty, staff and visitors.
Over the past five years, the fundraiser has brought in over $40,000 for the cause.
The 2012 Row For The Cure Ergathon marks the sixth year of the event for the Blue Devils.
