Despite trailing Mexico's Ivan Garcia and German Sanchez by 0.69 points heading into the final round, McCrory and Boudia notched their best score of the evening - 90.72 points on a back 2 ½ with 2 ½ twists - to earn a final score of 453.57 points. Garcia and Sanchez finished second with 451.23 points while Tom Daley and Peter Waterfield of Great Britain took the bronze at 446.88 points.
The gold medal marked the second podium finish of the FINA Diving World Series for McCrory and Boudia, who took second in the event last week in Moscow.
