Career Statistics

Career:
 First Duke player to be named a finalist for the MAC Hermann Trophy in 2011 ... only the second ACC Defensive Player of the Year selection in Blue Devil history ... just the second Duke standout to be named NSCAA First Team All-America.

National Team Experience:  Trained with the U-23 U.S. National Team in the spring of 2012 ... traveled to La Manga, Spain to play in the Four Nations Tournament  in the spring of 2012 ... U-18 U.S. National Team training during the spring of 2010.

Sophomore (2011): Started all 27 games ... Soccer America MVP First Team ... NSCAA First Team All-America ... 2011 MAC Herman Trophy Semifinalist ... First Team All-Southeast Region ... ACC Defensive Player of the Year ... earned All-ACC First Team honors ... ranked 19th in TopDrawerSoccer's ACC player listing ... named to the Duke Nike Classic All-Tournament Team ... listed as a member of Soccer America's Team of the Week Sept. 20 ... center of Duke's defense that allowed just 13 goals in 27 games this season, while registering a school-record 16 shutouts ... took 17 shots, three of which were on goal ... scored her only goal of the season on Sept. 15 in a 3-0 win over Charleston ... recorded her lone assist of the season on Oct. 23 in a 3-1 win over 14th-ranked Maryland ... played 90 minutes or more in 19 matches, including a season-high 108 minutes on Sept. 29 against seventh-ranked Virginia ... started the season in the midfield, but moved to center back following Ashley Rape's injury in the fourth game of the year ... played the second-most minutes on the team at 2,339.

National Team Experience:  Trained with the U-18 U.S. National Team during the spring of 2010.

Freshman (2010): Saw action in all 23 games including nine starts ... scored in the 5-0 victory over High Point ... assisted in the win over Missouri and in the win over Virginia Tech for two total assists ... took 19 shots ... earned 1,299 minutes of playing time ... member of  a defensive unit that registered 10 shutouts.

Regional Team Experience:  Member of her ODP Region III squad from 2005-10 ... has traveled to Brazil and Spain with her Region III ODP squad ... helped lead her North Texas ODP team to a national championship in 2008.

Worth-Star Telegram's Super Team All-Area for three straight years ... twice earned TASCO All-Region First Team honors ... named District 8-5A Newcomer of the Year for three years ... co-captain of her team her junior and senior year ... voted team co-MVP and Outstanding Midfielder for three straight years ... as a junior, netted nine goals and eight assists ... a four-year letterwinner ... collected 11 goals in each of her freshman and sophomore campaigns, while totaling a career-best 15 assists as a sophomore ... a member of the Dallas Texans 92G Red club team ... an NTSSA State Team member ... led her USYS squad to a national championship in 2008 and 2011 ...  named MVP in the 2011 regional championship ... three-year member of Spanish Honor Society ... member of the National Society of High School Scholars ... member of Key Club and Psychology Club ... served as a student mentor for four years.

Personal: Natasha Anasi was born Oct. 2, 1991 in Irving, Texas ... daughter of John and Jane Anasi ... has two brothers, Andre (15) and Kevin (38) ... has one sister, Stephanie (19) ... her sister, Stephanie, is a sophomore on the Creighton women's soccer team ... older brother, Kevin, played rugby at the University of Texas at Austin from 1996-98 and at the University of Houston (1998) ... majoring in political science.
