Johnson, who is out of Chester, Va., came on strong in the NCAA Tournament as she scored 11 points in the first three rounds off the bench. She tallied six points against Samford, and five each versus Vanderbilt and 14th-ranked St. John’s. Johnson hit 6-of-10 field goals in the NCAA Tournament.
As a team, Duke registered a 27-6 overall record, won the ACC regular season title for the third straight year and advanced to the NCAA Elite Eight for the third year in a row. The Blue Devils will return four starters and 91 percent of their scoring next season.
