Capuano recorded two no-decisions in his two most recent outings. In a game against the Tampa Bay Rays on Aug. 9, Capuano lasted 4.1 innings, giving up five earned runs on ten hits. The Dodgers went on to beat the Rays 7-6. Five days later, Capuano faced the New York Mets. He pitched 5.0 innings, giving up four earned runs and two walks. Capuano also struck out three Mets’ batters. The Dodgers currently sit atop the National League West, 7.5 games ahead of the second place Arizona Diamondbacks.

Gallagher’s batting average this season is the highest of his three years with the Charlotte Knights.

McCurdy also earned the first walk of his Class-AA career. Both the hit and walk occurred during a night game hosted by McCurdy’s Corpus Christi Hooks.

Hitters continue to struggle against O’Grady, posting a meager .190 batting average against the righty.

On Aug. 11, right-hander moved from the Advanced Rookie Great Falls Voyagers to the Class-A Intimidators. In his one appearance with his new club, Putnam struck out two batters and allowed no hits in one inning of work. His ERA for the season, including his time with the Voyagers, remains a paltry 1.04. Putnam’s new squad is currently seven games back in the South Atlantic League Northern division.
