DURHAM, N.C. -- The ACC Office released the 2014 ACC Tournament bracket on Sunday afternoon and the seventh-ranked Duke women’s basketball team will be seeded No. 2 in the upcoming tournament and will play at 6:00 p.m., Friday, March 7 in Greensboro, N.C.
On Duke’s side of the bracket, the Blue Devils will face either seventh-seeded Georgia Tech, 10th-seeded Virginia (13-16) or 15th-seeded Boston College (12-18). The Cavaliers and Eagles will play on 3:30 p.m., on Wednesday, March 5 and the winner will advance to face the Yellow Jackets (19-10) on Thursday, March 6 at 6:00 p.m.
Notre Dame is seeded No. 1, followed by No. 2 seed Duke, No. 3 seeded Maryland and N.C. State is seeded No. 4. The tournament will start on Wednesday, March 5 at 1:00 p.m., and will feature a total of 14 games.
Duke is the reigning ACC Champions and has won eight total titles since 2000 (2000-04, 2010, 2011, 2013).
