DURHAM, N.C. -- This week's edition of the Duke Football Summer Spotlight features redshirt junior linebacker Kelby Brown, who will return to the Blue Devils after sitting out the 2012 campaign following knee surgery.
Brown is coming off ACL reconstruction performed prior to spring practice in 2012. Before the injury, he was Duke's most productive linebacker, amassing 128 tackles -- including 12.5 for loss -- in 19 career games. He will add a significant boost in experience and playmaking ability to the Duke linebacking corps and is in the mix to earn a starting job in the fall.
The Duke Football Summer Spotlight runs every Wednesday on GoDuke.com. Be sure to check back next week for the newest installment.
