Regular-Season
Tournament Success
Duke posted an 88-67 win over Florida Gulf Coast on
Sunday in a Battle 4 Atlantis contest to register its 20th
consecutive win in a regular-season tournament. The Blue Devils have won the
Maui Invitational (2007, 2011), 2K Sports Classic (2008), NIT Season Tip-Off
(2009) and CBE Classic (2010) since falling to Marquette, 73-62, in the
championship game of the 2006 CBE Classic in Kansas City.
The Blue Devils travel to the Bahamas next for three games in the Battle 4 Atlantis (Nov. 22-24). Duke opens with Minnesota and will then play either Memphis or VCU. The Blue Devils' final game will come against one of the four teams (Louisville, Missouri, Northern Iowa, Stanford) on the other side of the tournament bracket.
