Career Statistics

Career: Played in 76 career games as a long stick midfield … Compiled 143 ground balls and 88 ground balls … His 88 ground balls are the most in program history since Duke started tracking the statistic in 2010 … Tallied three goals and three assists for six points in his career … Helped lead Duke to consecutive NCAA Championships in 2013 and 2014.
2014: Played in 15 games at longstick midfield … Team Captain … USILA Third Team All-American … Picked up 35 ground balls and 22 caused turnovers … Tallied a goal in the victory over No. 4 Denver (2/15) … Registered five ground balls and five caused turnovers in 9-6 win over Penn (2/21) … Had at least one caused turnover in nine of his 15 games … Picked up two-plus ground balls eight times … Corralled seven ground balls versus Harvard (3/29) … Had five ground balls and three caused turnovers in overtime victory over No. 4 North Carolina (3/15) … Was a key part of the faceoff midfield on the wing, helping Duke to win 58 percent of its restarts … Suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament at Virginia April 11 … Returned to play for Duke in both the NCAA semifinal and NCAA Championship games … Had one ground ball in NCAA title win over Notre Dame (5/26).

2011: Played in all 20 games and started three at longstick midfield ... registered a goal and an assist for two points ... picked up 21 ground balls and forced 12 turnovers ... tallied first collegiate point in season-opening win over Siena (2/12) ... also had a season-high three ground balls and two caused turnovers against the Saints ... registered first career goal in victory over Presbyterian (4/11) ... had at least one ground ball in 15 contests.

Prep: Lettered all three years for Steve Carr at Philips Academy … earned All-America recognition as a senior … selected to the New England All-Star Team … garnered Under Armour All-American honors … served as a team captain as a senior … also lettered three years in football and hockey … earned All-New England honors in football in 2008 … ranked 133rd among all hockey players in his grade in North America and attended the NHL draft in 2010.
