2014-15: Competed in three meets during the fall…concluded the season with a 15th-place showing at the Three Stripe Invitational (11/8), registering a time of 15:44.67…ran a season-best 8K time of 27:02.50 at the JMU Invitational (9/13)…Indoors, nearly ran a personal-best 3,000 time at the Virginia Tech Elite (2/7), placing 10th with a time of 8:34.70…Outdoors, recorded a team-best 3,000 steeple time of 9:41.95 at the Duke Invitational (4/11).
2013-14: Entered two events in the fall…helped guide Duke to a first-place finish at the Three Stripe Invitational, placing second overall in a 5K time of 15:18.31…earned a 15th-place finish at the Royal Cross Country Challenge (10/11)…Indoors, saw increased action in his sophomore campaign, competing in five events during the season…ran a personal-best time of 4:16.93 for the mile at the Virginia Tech Challenge (2/21)…also clocked a personal-best time of 8:33.59 at the Virginia Tech Elite Meet (2/8)…opened the indoor season with a personal-best time of 15:01.21 for 5,000 meters at the Virginia Tech Invitational (1/18)…did not compete during the outdoor season.
2012-13: Competed four times on the fall, with his best finish coming in a fourth-place performance in the Duke-NC Central dual...clocked 25:56.6 for 8K to place ninth at the Great American Cross Country Festival...collected a top-10 finish at the Three Stripe Invitational with a time of 15:39 for 5K...Indoors, participated in one individual event and one relay in his rookie campaign…ran the 3,000 meters at the JDL Fast Track Kickoff in 8:46.98 to finish fourth overall...served as the 1,600 anchor in a distance medley relay team that placed third at the Virginia Tech Invitational with a combined time of 10:12.21...did not compete during the outdoor season.
Prior to Duke: Four-year letterwinner in cross country and track & field at Arlington...finished 18th overall at the state cross country championship as a senior...named the Poughkeepsie Journal's Runner of the Year as a junior...All-American in indoor and outdoor track & field...helped his squad's distance medley relay take sixth at the 2012 New Balance Indoor Nationals...finished 11th in the state in the 1,600m indoors during his junior season...Outdoors, was a member of Arlington's distance medley relay that came in fourth at the 2012 Penn Relays and fifth at the 2012 New Balance Outdoor Nationals...finished sixth in the state in the 3,200m and in the emerging elite mile competition at Nationals in 2010...garnered all-state, all-section, all-country and all-league recognition in cross country and track & field during his prep career...two-time team captain in cross country and track & field...National Honor Society member...an AP Scholar with Distinction.
