Honors: ACC Academic Honor Roll (2013, 2014)
2013-14: Indoors, saw a season-best clearance of 6-9.50 (2.07) come at the ACC Indoor Championships, placing him eighth overall…highest finish of the season came at the Dick Taylor Challenge (1/24), where he cleared 6-8.75 (2.05) to earn a second-place finish…Outdoors, posted the fourth-highest clearance in school history, placing fourth at the VertKlasse Meeting (4/5) with a height of 6-10.25 (2.09)…placed fifth overall at the ACC Outdoor Championships with a leap of 6-9.50 (2.07).
2012-13: Indoors, the high jump specialist cleared a season-best 6-10.25 (2.09) at the ACC Indoor Championships to finish tied for sixth overall…top place finish of the season came at the Armory Collegiate where he finished third with a leap of 6-8.25 (2.04)…Outdoors, cleared a season-best 6-8.75 (2.05) to finish sixth at the Raleigh Relays and place him fifth on Duke’s all-time performance list…finished 12th at the ACC Championships with a clearance of 6-8 (2.03).
Prior to Duke: Four-year letterwinner in track & field at Oak Park River Forest...named the 2012 Illinois Gatorade Boys Track and Field Athlete of the Year...earned All-America honors in 2012 by placing third in the high jump at the New Balance Nationals...finished second in the high jump at the 2011 New Balance Nationals...four-time all-state honoree...two-time Illinois high jump state champion (2011, 2012)...16 time all-conference in the jumping events.
