  • Four-year letterwinner for coach Robert Smith at Simeon Career Academy ... was the first freshman in school history to play on the varsity team

  • Father, Sonny, was selected in the first round (No. 17) in the 1976 NBA Draft by the Golden State Warriors ... played six seasons in the NBA averaging 9.9 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 2.1 assists per game
  • Sonny played two years at Texas A&M, leading the Aggies to back-to-back Southwest Conference titles and earning first-team All-Southwest Conference honors both years ... he averaged 20.7 points per game as a senior and earned SWAC Player of the Year accolades
  • Darryl played basketball at Oregon ... Christian played basketball at BYU-Hawaii
  • Has two uncles, Harvey Unga and Tony Moeaki, that played in the NFL
