Coach K Participates in #HeroesHangout

DURHAM, N.C. – Duke head coach Mike Krzyzewski took part in the first installment of #HeroesHangout Monday from his downstairs office in Cameron Indoor Stadium. Krzyzewski and host Chris Spatola, an Operation Iraqi Freedom veteran, were joined in the Google+ Hangout by seven U.S. Army soldiers from around the world.

The 25-minute conversation touched on a wide range of topics including leadership, commitment to service, team building and overcoming adversity. Krzyzewski also found time to throw a few barbs at fellow Chicago native and 2008 ESPN The Magazine cover-boy SGT Jerrod Fields.
