It is strictly prohibited to bring alcohol into Durham Bulls Athletic Park. Individuals violating this policy are subject to ejection from the stadium. Alcohol will be served at Durham Bulls Athletic Park concessions to those who present a valid form identification showing they are 21 or older.
There is a KeySource Commercial Bank cash machine located on the concourse near The Herald-Sun Fan Assistance Center.
Bags and Bag Search
Small bags, purses and fanny packs are permitted into the Durham Bulls Athletic Park. However, all bags are subject to search by stadium officials. Random bag searches will be conducted at the stadium gates upon entry.
Banners and signs
Hand held banners are permitted inside Durham Bulls Athletic Park, however Duke along with Durham Bulls Athletic Park staff reserve the right to prohibit or require the cessation of any display of a banner or sign that obstructs the view of other fans, obscures stadium signage, can be considered an advertisement, or is determined to be obscene, vulgar, indecent, inappropriate, or derogatory.
Bull City Connector
The Bull City Connector is a fare-free, hybrid-electric bus service that connects downtown Durham with the Duke University campus. The route provides direct access to Duke and includes stops along Main Street and Erwin Road. The service also includes a stop at Durham Station, the city's transportation hub with public bus service and within walking distance of the American Tobacco Campus and the Durham Bulls Athletic Park. The Bull City Connector is also ideal for bicyclists, who can ride to a Connector stop and take their bike to campus by using a bike rack on the front of the bus.
Hand-held still cameras are permitted for personal use only. No cameras are permitted into the stadium with a lens longer than four (4) inches. Video cameras are permitted to be used during pre-game only. Video cameras are prohibited from filming the game.
A great variety of food items and Pepsi products are available from the concession stands located on the concourse in Durham Bulls Athletic Park. Stands are open 60 minutes prior to the start of the game.
Duke Athletics expects all fans to conduct themselves in an appropriate manner at all times before, during, and after the competition. We expect all fans to treat other fans, players, coaches and officials with courtesy. Please join us in creating a fun, safe, family atmosphere at Jack Coombs Stadium by not:
- Interfering with other guests’ ability to enjoy the game;
- Using/displaying foul or abusive language or gestures;
- Appearing to be intoxicated or in a diminished capacity;
- Failing to produce a ticket upon request or sitting in a seat that does not match your ticket;
- Entering the competition or restricted access areas;
- Smoking except in designated areas;
- Throwing objects onto the competition area or within the venue; or
- Otherwise being disorderly.

First Aid/Emergency Medical Assistance
Medical care is available at the Herald-Sun Fan Assistance Center. EMT staff is available in yellow shirts throughout the ballpark. In case of emergency, please call 9-1-1.
Food and Beverage
Outside food and beverage are prohibited. (Exception: Medical reasons)
Foul Ball Alert
Please be aware that the ball can be hit into the seating area. Stay alert anytime you are in the seating area. If you catch a foul ball, please feel free to keep it! Also, be on the lookout, as bats are sometimes inadvertently tossed into the stands.
Gates (Entrance into stadium)
All gates to the Durham Bulls Athletic Park will open 1 hour prior to the first pitch. Patrons with purses and bags are subject to searches. All Duke and visiting team parents, media, and scouts may request entrance to the stadium for batting practice prior to 1 hour pre-game by contacting game day staff located at the Administrative entrance located to the left of the main entrance gates. A valid ticket is required for entrance.

Lost and Found
If any article is lost or found in the stadium, please inquire about or turn in the item to the Administrative Office Front Desk. Items turned into the front desk during the game will be held there until completion of the game. All lost and found items not picked up prior to the end of the game will be available for pick-up the following business day after home games at Duke University. Please call 919-684-1785 to inquire about lost items.
Artificial noisemaking devices are prohibited. In addition to confiscation, violators may be subject to university disciplinary action (if applicable) and/or legal proceedings, and removal from the event site.
The Durham Bulls Athletic Park will utilize the public address paging service only in cases of extreme emergency. For emergency assistance, please contact a seating bowl host or security/police officer.
Parking, Tailgating, and Operational Information
- Parking Location
o Free Parking is available on the adjacent streets to the Durham Bulls Athletic Park. Free parking may also be available in the parking decks which surround the Ballpark, however depending on the day of the week there is the possibility that there will be a charge to park in the decks.
o *All parking is subject to change based on availability; always follow the direction of the Durham Bulls parking attendants when attending games. For special event and game day parking information (see parking and traffic updates).

- Persons w/ Disabilities Parking:
o There are persons with disabilities parking spots located on Blackwell Street and they should be accessed via the Jackie Robinson Street/Blackwell Street intersection. These spaces are first-come, first-serve. There is additional persons with disabilities parking in the South Parking Deck.
o Please have your valid state-issued persons with disabilities parking pass displayed from your rearview mirror at all times while your car is parked.
o Tailgating is not permitted for games being held at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park.

- Parking Emergency Information
o In case of emergency please dial 9-1-1. If an emergency occurs and authorities are contacted, please designate someone in your party to help direct emergency personnel to the emergency location.
All pets are prohibited inside Durham Bulls Athletic Park. (Exception: Service animals are allowed to assist those with disabilities)
Press Box Access
Only credentialed personnel will be allowed into the press box and media areas. All media should contact the Duke Sports Information office at least two days prior to the day of the game to reserve a credential.
Free game rosters and scorecards are provided at each game. These items will be distributed in the main entry plaza by game day staff.
A list of prohibited items will be posted at the entrance gates to the DBAP.
If you need to leave the stadium and wish to return, please see the gate supervisor to receive a hand stamp to re-enter the Stadium. You will need your game ticket as well as the hand stamp.
There are restrooms in marked locations throughout the concourse of the DBAP. There is a family restroom located at The Herald-Sun Fan Assistance Center. Both the men's and women's restrooms are persons with disabilities accessible.
Safety and Security
- Seating bowl hosts and a game day manager will be on-site from the time gates open until post-game. They are available for your assistance if needed. Police/Security officers will be present for all games. For emergencies please call 911 or contact the closest seating bowl host, security/police officer.
- All Items Subject to Search
o Small bags, purses and fanny packs are permitted into Durham Bulls Athletic Park. However, all bags are subject to search by stadium officials.
o As part of new federal security guidelines, backpacks and large bags are no longer permitted inside Durham Bulls Athletic Park.
o Strollers and other items which contain storage areas are subject to search.
- To Report Game Day Problems, Unruly Fans, or Suspicious Activity
o Visit our safety and security personnel located at the stadium gates and around the stadium
- Re-Entry into Stadium
o Fans wishing to leave and then re-enter the stadium may do so under the following conditions – they must see the gate supervisor to receive a hand stamp to re-enter the Stadium. Fans re-entering must show valid game ticket as well as the hand stamp for entry. All items are subject to search upon re-entry to the stadium.
Scouts wishing to gain access to a Duke Baseball game will need to go to the box office located on Blackwell Street and show proper identification. They will be given a seat behind home plate.
Persons w/ Disabilities Seating:
- Persons with disabilities seating is available throughout Durham Bulls Athletic Park. The seating is located between the 100 and 200 levels. An elevator is located in the main lobby to the left of Ballpark Corner and also on the right-field end of the concourse. Please see a seating bowl host for assistance.
There is no smoking allowed inside Durham Bulls Athletic Park. Smoking areas are located in designated areas outside the Durham Bulls Athletic Park. These are the only areas where smoking is permitted.
All Duke Baseball games at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park are ticketed. The ticket and will call windows at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park are located on Blackwell Street closest to the intersection of Blackwell Street and Jackie Robinson Drive. General Will Call and Player/Guest Will Call will be located at the ticket windows. Media Will Call will be located inside the Durham Bulls Administrative Office entrance at the front desk.
The ticket office and will call windows will open one (1) hour prior to the start of every game and close two (2) hours after the start of every game.
Duke Students will be allowed entry free of charge by showing a VALID Duke student ID at the entrance gates to the DBAP. Students do not need to get a ticket from will call. Student seating sections are 113-115.

Tickets go on sale outside the stadium gates one (1) hour prior to game time. All patrons entering the stadium must have a ticket, credential, or valid student ID.
