2011-12: A team captain, finished her final season with a 7-8 singles record ... combined for a 16-10 overall mark in doubles, including a 12-3 mark in dual matches and was 7-2 playing in the No. 3 spot with Hanna Mar ... won seven straight doubles matches between March 17 and May 12 and owned a 4-0 ledger in ACC matches ... teaming with Mar in what turned out to be her final match, defeated Florida's Alexandra Cercone and Carolina Hitimana, 8-4, at the No. 3 spot in the lineup in the NCAA semifinals ... in the fall, posted a 5-6 singles record and a 3-5 doubles record … finished the fall season winning four straight singles matches at the Kitty Harrison Invitational … teamed up with Hanna Mar to upset 24th-ranked Zoe De Bruycker and Lauren McHale of North Carolina, 8-4, at the Duke Fab-4 Invite. 

2011: Partnered with Mary Clayton to record a team-best doubles mark of 17-5, including an impressive 9-1 mark in ACC play… the duo primarily played in the No. 3 slot where they were 13-3 over the course of the year… began the season ranked No. 9 nationally with Clayton, while concluding the season ranked 69th… posted a 2-1 mark in singles play at the No. 6 spot … in the fall, posted a 9-3 singles record and an 11-5 overall doubles record…appeared in the Riviera/ITA Women’s All-American Championships... won the consolation doubles main draw at the Riviera with Clayton... advanced to the semifinals in singles and doubles at the San Diego State Fall Classic.

2009-10: Registered a 24-12 overall record ... started spring season ranked 63rd nationally … finished with a 17-9 mark in dual matches and went 5-4 in ACC play … played primarily in the No. 5 spot … posted a 13-8 mark at fifth singles and was a perfect 3-0 from the No. 4 position … went 1-1 against nationally-ranked foes … compiled a 2-1 singles record in NCAA Tournament contests … cruised to a 6-1, 6-1 victory at No. 5 to help Duke defeat No. 2 Northwestern … played doubles primarily with Mary Clayton … pair compiled a 10-3 overall record and 6-3 in ACC competition … duo posted a 2-2 record against nationally-ranked foes … tandem went 2-0 in the NCAA Tournament … upset 31st-ranked tandem from North Carolina in NCAA quarterfinal … finished season ranked 37th nationally with Gorny … also played with Jessica Stiles, posting an 8-5 record in dual matches … finished with a 20-11 overall record in doubles. Fall 2009: registered a 7-3 record in fall tournaments … advanced to the ITA All-America prequalifying finals with a win over fourth-seeded Rachael White of Illinois … defeated 79th-ranked Sophie Grabinski at the ITA Carolina Region Championship.

At Miami University:
Posted an overall record of 18-4 for the Redhawks … named the Mid –American Conference Freshman of the Year and selected to the All-MAC first team … helped lead Miami to the MAC Championship and its first berth in the NCAA Tournament in program history … played primarily in the No. 1 position in singles, going 14-2 … went 7-1 in conference play … teamed up with Anastasia Dracheva at No. 2 doubles, finishing 15-2 on the year … the duo won its final 13 matches of the season and was unbeaten in MAC play. 

International: Played in the Girls' Singles competitions at four of the world's most prestigious tournaments... earned berths at the French Open and Wimbledon in 2008 and at Wimbledon and the French Open in 2007... in 2008, lost 6-3, 6-2 to the No. 3 seed in the first round at Roland Garros and lost 7-5, 6-1 to the No. 10 seed at the All England Lawn and Tennis Club... was 1-1 in the Girls' Doubles competition at Wimbledon... won the International Junior Championships of Botswana singles title and a pair of ITF Junior doubles titles in 2008... chosen to participate in the 2008 Commonwealth Games, a world competition involving more than 50 countries... was a member of the South African Federation Cup team.

High School: Played No. 1 for her high school team for five seasons... helped TWC to four Midlands League titles during her career... was selected as her team's representative into the provincial playoffs... through that tournament, earned a spot on the South Africa national high school team three times... participated in field hockey and karate... earned distinctions (highest honors) in all six of her academic subjects... became only the second person in the history of her school to earn a White Blazer, symbolic of all-around excellence in academics, culture and athletics.

Personal: Born March 29, 1991 in Pietermaritzburg, South Africa ... daughter of Hanna and Wlodzimierz Gorny.
