DURHAM, N.C. – The Duke women’s cross country team continues its fall slate this weekend, traveling to Rock Hill, S.C., to compete in the NCAA Southeast Regional Championships Friday morning. The six-kilometer race is set for an 11 a.m. start.

The Blue Devils will send eight competitors into action, with the lineup comprised of one freshman, two sophomores, one junior and four seniors.

Leading the way for the Blue Devils is sophomore Michaela Reinhart, who has been Duke’s top finisher in each of her three races this season. Reinhart posted a strong performance at the ACC Championships, earning all-conference honors for the second consecutive season with a 20th-place finish.

Duke's four seniors include the foursome of Gabrielle Richichi, Kim Hallowes, Liz Lansing and Sheridan Wilbur. Richichi is coming off of a strong performance at the ACC Championships, where she posted a second-place finish for the Blue Devils. Hallowes and Lansing also notched top-five finishes for Duke, finishing third and fifth, respectively.

The trio of Monica Hebner, Amanda Beach, and Lindsay Billings will round out the lineup in the regional championships. Hebner, Duke’s lone freshman, has finished among Duke’s top four competitors in each of her three races this season, most recently finishing fourth for the Blue Devils at the conference championships. Billings looks to improve upon her performance at regionals a season ago, where she finished fifth for the Blue Devils. The junior has notched a top-five finished for the Blue Devils in two of her three races this fall.

Duke enters the weekend as the fifth-ranked team in the Southeast Region. The NCAA Southeast Regional Championships will be hosted at the Winthrop Farm, including eight teams from the ACC in the field.
