DURHAM, N.C. – Four Blue Devils earned spots on the 2017 Women's Lacrosse All-ACC Academic Team, as released Tuesday by the conference office.

Senior Maura Schwitter and junior Kyra Harney were both recognized with All-ACC Academic honors for the third time in their respective careers while junior Maddie Crutchfield made the list for the second consecutive season. Sophomore Olivia Jenner was a first-time selection to the All-Academic Team.

Schwitter and Crutchfield were among the conference's 14 student-athletes to garner both All-ACC and All-ACC Academic accolades this season.

Schwitter put up impressive numbers in her final collegiate season, becoming one of just nine players in program history to total 100 draw controls and 50 caused turnovers. The veteran defender was an honorable mention All-America selection by Inside Lacrosse at the conclusion of the spring, as well as a second team Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) All-South Region and a first team All-ACC pick.

Crutchfield led the charge for the Blue Devils offensively during the second half of the 2017 campaign. The junior midfielder rounded out the year with a team-high 32 goals and ranked second on the squad in points (49), assists (17) and ground balls (29). Crutchfield joined Schwitter on the IWLCA All-South Region second team and was a second team All-ACC honoree.

A three-year starter on attack, Harney notched a team-best 50 points on 30 goals and 20 assists this spring. Her six hat tricks led all Blue Devils, while her 1.18 assists per game ranked her among the ACC leaders in that category.

Jenner continued to dominate on the draw this spring, surpassing the 100-draw control mark for the second time in as many seasons at Duke. She moved into second on the program's all-time list with 213 career draw controls. That total also ranked her seventh this year among all active Division I players.

To be eligible for consideration for the All-ACC Academic Team, a student-athlete must have earned a 3.00 grade point average for the previous semester and maintained a 3.00 cumulative average during her academic career.

Under the direction of head coach Kerstin Kimel, Duke has totaled 94 selections to the All-ACC Academic Team since the award's inception in 2006, marking the highest number in the conference.

All eight of the league's women's lacrosse programs were represented on the 2017 All-ACC Academic Team, with North Carolina's Marie McCool taking home ACC Women's Lacrosse Scholar-Athlete of the Year honors.
