DURHAM, N.C. – Following a 2018 season that saw her break Duke’s freshman scoring and points records, attacker Charlotte North has been named to Inside Lacrosse’s 2018 All-Rookie Team.

North started all 17 contests for the Blue Devils this spring, leading Duke with 59 goals and 64 points. Those totals surpassed program freshman records held by former Blue Devil standout Katie Chrest. North’s 3.47 goals per game ranked her second in the ACC for the season, while her 12 hat tricks marked a team high. She also notched 16 ground balls, six caused turnovers and one draw control while going 11-for-18 at the eight-meter mark to lead all Blue Devils.

During the course of the season, North twice earned ACC Offensive Player of the Week recognition, including following an eight-goal showing against Louisville that broke Duke’s single-game scoring record.

North rounded out her rookie campaign as a second team All-ACC selection, honorable mention All-America pick by Inside Lacrosse and as a selection to the Tewaaraton Award Watch List.
