DURHAM, N.C.—The Duke men’s soccer program will host an open training session, Tuesday April 2, as part of the United Soccer Coaches Open Training Week. The session is open to soccer coaches of all levels.
Head coach John Kerr, associate head coach Michael Brady and assistant coach Chris Rich will host the session at the Duke University 751 field located off of Cameron Blvd., from 9:30-11 a.m. Coaches interested in attending can register here.
This nationwide initiative provides an opportunity for coaches from all levels and backgrounds to experience new environments, observe high-level training sessions, and learn from one another. Men's and women's teams at the college and professional levels will welcome local soccer coaches in their communities to attend a practice with the goal of uniting coaches around the love of the game.
The Blue Devils will be hosting Wake Forest in a spring contest in the second installment in 2019 of U.S. Soccer’s Spring Men’s College Program. Kickoff between the two ACC teams is at 3 p.m., at the Duke 751 field.
