DURHAM, N.C. – Duke concludes a nine-game home stand at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park Tuesday, March 21, playing host to Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference foe Maryland Eastern Shore at 6 p.m.

The Blue Devils (11-11, 3-3 ACC) have played 17 of their past 18 games at home and sit at .500 on the year after dropping this past weekend’s ACC series to Wake Forest, 2-1. Sophomore outfielder Jimmy Herron leads Duke in nine offensive categories – batting average (.341), slugging percentage (.549), on base percentage (.418), runs (20), hits (28), home runs (3), total bases (45), hit by pitch (4) and stolen bases (9). On the mound, freshman Graeme Stinson is set to start his third game of the season Tuesday.

Maryland Eastern Shore (3-11, 1-0 MEAC) won its MEAC opener, 6-3, over Coppin State Friday, but is forced to play a doubleheader against the Eagles Monday. The two teams were originally slated for a Sunday doubleheader before poor field conditions necessitated the change. The Hawks began the season with 10 straight losses before winning three of their past four games entering the week.

Duke and Maryland Eastern Shore meet for the 14th time in program history. The Blue Devils own an unblemished 13-0 mark in a series that dates back to 1993. Most recently, Duke defeated Maryland Eastern Shore, 9-1, March 15, 2016 at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park.
