2016-17: Competed in two meets during the cross country season…Was the top Duke finisher at the ACC Cross Country Championships (10/28), running a personal best 20:28.2 in the 6K to finish in 15th overall and earn All-ACC Honors…Earned All-ACC Academic Honors… Did not compete during the indoor season…Competed in one meet during the outdoor season, finishing in fifth place in the 3,000m at the Battle of the Blues (4/1) with a time of 10:02.47…Named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll.
Prior to Duke: Lettered all four years under Daniel Lavipour at Highgate High School in London, England…registered a first-place finish at the 2013 London Youth Games…posted a first-place finish in the Westminster Mile that same year…3,000 meter gold medalist three consecutive years after winning 2016 South of England AA U20/Senior Championships, 2015 South of England AA U20/Senior Championships and 2014 South of England AA U20/Senior Championships…placed first at the Independent Schools Cross Country Championships in 2008 and 2014 and finished second in 2010…also served as captain for the swim team and competed in both netball and hockey…leader of national campaign in England on mental health, started in 2013, with a pilot program with the Mental Health Foundation that is running in over 30 schools…garnered the British Health Heroes of the Year Award for her efforts in the mental health world…member of the community action committee, charity committee and environment committee at Highgate…also contributing member of student council, feminist society, biology society and geography society, as well as senior editor of the school magazine.
