DURHAM, N.C. – The Duke track and field team will host a pair of home meets this season at Morris Williams Track and Field Stadium. The Battle of the Blues will take place on April 7, while the annual Duke Invitational is set for April 20-21.
The Battle of the Blues will see Michigan and North Carolina come to Durham for a three-team meet. Field events will begin at 11:00 a.m. while the track events are scheduled to kick off at 3:00 p.m.
The Duke Invitational is open to collegiate and unattached/post-collegiate athletes. The high level field will include schools from the ACC and SEC. Registration will remain open through April 17 and can be found at DirectAthletics.com.
Track events will kick off at 9:00 a.m. on Friday morning and 2:30 p.m. on Saturday afternoon while field events are scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m. on both days. The coaching staff is excited to announce there will be a live DJ playing during the Pole Vault Invitational, starting at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Events for both days will culminate under the lights. Senior Day celebrations will also take place throughout the meet. Schedule and times of events are subject to change.
