Redshirt Freshman: Returned from rehab to improve nearly 18 feet in the javelin ... started the season with a then-personal best 215’-7” to place third at the Wake Forest Open ... improved again to 219’-11”, winning the Duke Invitational … threw 221’-14” to place second at Sun Angel Classic in Tempe, Ariz. ... earned all-conference honors with a second-place finish at the ACC Championships, leading a 2-3-6 Duke finish for a team-high 17 points in javelin ... threw 219’-0” to place third at the Penn Relays ... became only the 10th Blue Devil to win an IC4A championship with a throw of 216’-8” ... broke the Duke school record with a 225’-5” throw to secure an NCAA automatic bid at the East Regionals and earn All-Region honors ... became the first Duke male track athlete to earn NCAA All-America honors in javelin and the eleventh male Blue Devil in any individual event.
