Happy Birthday Dan Brooks

DURHAM, N.C.—
In his 35th season as the head women’s golf coach at Duke University, Dan Brooks is celebrating a special day. He turned 60 years young on September 30th.
Staff and former players took time to wish Brooks happy birthday from all over the world.

Over his 35 years with the Blue Devils, Brooks has established himself as one of the greatest coaches in Division I history compiling six NCAA Championships, 20 ACC Championships and a NCAA-record 133 team wins. He has been selected National Coach of the Year on six occasions and ACC Coach of the Year 15 different times.

Brooks and his 2018-19 Blue Devil squad is getting set for a practice round Sunday, Sept. 30 and then will compete in the Windy City Collegiate Oct. 1-2 in Wilmette, Ill.
