DURHAM, N.C. – Duke University alumna Lindy Duncan advanced to the third round of action at the 2018 U.S. Women’s Open, following the completion of the second round Saturday morning at Shoal Creek Golf Club in Shoal Creek Ala.

Duncan, who graduated from Duke in 2013, posted rounds of 71 and 74 for a 36-hole ledger of 145, which is tied for 25th. Sarah Jane Smith collected back-to-back scores of 67 and leads the field with a 10-under, 134. Duncan will tee off in her third round beginning at 1:56 p.m. (ET).

The second round could not be completed Friday due to inclement weather and resumed early Saturday morning.

To follow the action, Fox will have live coverage from 2-7 p.m., on both Saturday and Sunday from Shoal Creek, Ala.

Duke rising sophomore Miranda Wang played in her second straight China LPGA Tournament and collected rounds of 70, 74 and 71 for a one-under, 215. She placed low amateur and tied eighth overall. Ching Huang shot a nine-under, 207, to take medalist accolades.
