DURHAM, N.C. – Bob Harris, the Voice of the Blue Devils, is in his final season as Duke’s hall of fame play-by-play announcer. Over his 40-year career, Harris has called some of the most memorable moments in Duke basketball history. Fans can relive some of these remarkable plays with episodes of Duke Basketball Classic Calls.
This week’s episode features Harris’ call of Austin Rivers' buzzer-beating three that propelled the Blue Devils past rival North Carolina and capped off a 29-point effort for the Winter Park, Fla. native.
Down 10 with two and a half minutes remaining, Duke would manage to claw back and make it 84-82 before a missed-Tar Heel free throw would set the stage for the game-winner.
