DURHAM, N.C.— Over the last two weeks, the Duke women’s basketball team has been preparing for its upcoming trip to Italy. Head coach Joanne P. McCallie has led practice, which has helped Duke get an early start for the 2017-18 campaign. The Blue Devils will leave Monday, Aug. 14 for Rome, Italy and will play three contests during the trip that will take them to Florence, Siena and Venice as well. Duke will return home Aug. 23.
Following practice this week, Kyra Lambert talked with McCallie about the upcoming trip and what the Blue Devils have been working on in practice.
