2005: Listed as a starter at defensive end ... fifth-year senior ... preseason Third Team All-ACC choice by Athlon Sports ... returns to the gridiron after missing the final nine games of the 2004 season ... suffered broken leg in week two at Connecticut ... after a breakout season in 2003 with 18.5 tackles for loss, appeared ready to emerge into one of the ACC’s top defensive ends ... could play a big role in Duke’s defense this fall ... did not participate in contact drills during spring practice ... begins the year as Duke’s active leader in games played (37), tackles for loss (19.5) and quarterback sacks (7.5) ... post-season honors candidate and professional prospect ... has gained 25 pounds over the past 10 months ... possesses big play potential on every snap ... one of the program’s leaders after serving as team captain in 2004.

2004:
