DURHAM, N.C. – Duke wide receiver Aaron Young has removed his name from the NCAA Transfer Portal and will rejoin the Blue Devil program, effective immediately.

“Aaron has been an integral part of our program since arriving on campus in the summer of 2015,” Duke head coach David Cutcliffe said.  “Duke is the best place for Aaron to continue his growth as a student-athlete and he’s excited to get back to work with his teammates in preparation for spring practice.”

A rising redshirt senior from Murrieta, Calif., Young has played in 26 games for the Blue Devils while totaling 34 pass receptions for 482 yards and four touchdowns.  In 2018, he saw action in just two contests due to injury and finished with seven catches for 139 yards and one touchdown.

Duke opens the 2019 season on August 31 against Alabama in the Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game.  Season tickets are on sale at GoDuke.com/Footballtix.
