DURHAM, N.C. - Duke redshirt senior cornerback Bryon Fields Jr. and redshirt sophomore quarterback Daniel Jones will join head coach David Cutcliffe as Duke’s representatives at this week’s ACC Football Kickoff. The trio will be at the Westin Hotel in Charlotte, N.C., on Friday. The event brings together local, regional and national media with ACC student-athletes, coaches, administrators and bowl partners for the unofficial beginning of football season.

On Thursday, student-athletes and coaches from the Atlantic Division programs will participate in a variety of interview formats with the Coastal Division contingent going through its media engagements Friday. Other highlights include guest speakers and photo opportunities. Media in attendance will also vote on the Preseason All-ACC Teams as well as the predicted league order of finish. The preseason poll will be released Monday while the All-ACC Teams come out Wednesday.

Fans can experience the event via live press conference video streams on ACC Network Extra and, as well as social media coverage using the #ACCKickoff hashtag.

Blue Devil Network’s Dave Harding and Duke's newly-appointed radio play-by-play broadcaster David Shumate will be on hand to chronicle the Friday media blitz from the Duke perspective and get behind-the-scenes footage of Fields Jr., Jones and Cutcliffe as they interact with media in all forms of publication and broadcast.
