2009:
Returning starting wide receiver ... preseason fourth team All-ACC choice by Phil Steele’s College Football Preview ... owns excellent speed and big play potential ... leading returning receiver for the Blue Devils after catching 30 passes in 2008 ... looks to build on one of the top seasons by a freshman wide receiver in school history.

2008: Played in 11 games with eight starts on the year ... missed the Miami tilt due to injury ... tallied 30 receptions for 327 yards on the year ... ranked second on the team in both receptions and yards ... caught at least one pass in 10-of-11 games played ... the 30 catches marked the third-highest single-season total by a freshman in Duke history while his 327 yards rank fourth all-time ... average of 10.9 yards per reception ranks ninth on the single-season chart for Duke rookies ... started in his collegiate debut against James Madison and responded with two catches for 19 yards ... in week two, caught 11 passes for 135 yards against Northwestern to earn ACC Rookie of the Week honors (9/8) ... the 11 catches ranked tied for fourth by a freshman nationally in 2008 while establishing a Duke single-game record for rookies ... the 135 receiving yards stand as the second-highest single-game total by a Duke freshman behind Walter Jones’ 139 yards against The Citadel in 1988 ... hauled in four balls against both Navy and Vanderbilt while posting three grabs versus North Carolina ... caught at least one pass in 10 games ... played 443 total snaps with 40 or more in five games ... on the field for a season-high 66 plays against Northwestern.

Prior to Duke: Three-year letterman at Leroy under Danny Powell ... named first team all-state and all-county as a junior ... received honorable mention all-county honors following sophomore season ... led Leroy to back-to-back Alabama AA state championships (2006-07) and a combined 39-4 record in three seasons ... caught 25 passes for 265 yards as a senior despite missing five games ... posted 893 receiving yards, 312 rushing yards and 15 touchdowns as a junior ... finished prep career with 1,694 receiving yards, 658 rushing yards and 22 total touchdowns ... also played basketball ... named all-county on the hardwood.
