• Duke kicks off a two-game road stretch by travelling to meet Pittsburgh on Saturday, October 27 ... Kickoff at Heinz Field is set for 3:30 p.m.
• Beginning with the September 22 contest versus N.C. Central, an “MD” helmet decal will be donned by the Blue Devils to honor Duke Athletics Hall of Fame member Mary Dinkins, who passed away on Tuesday, September 4, at the age of 68
• This past Saturday, Virginia defeated the Blue Devils by a 28-14 final as Cavalier QB Bryce Perkins accounted for three TDs ... The Blue Devils were held to zero points and 82 total offensive yards in the opening half en route to a 14-0 deficit at intermission ... QB Daniel Jones threw for 240 yards with one TD and two INTs while S Dylan Singleton recorded a game-high 10 tackles
• Saturday’s game will mark the 23rd on the gridiron between the two schools with Pittsburgh leading the series, 13-9 ... The series began in 1929 with a 52-7 win for the Panthers in the first game at Duke Stadium (now Brooks Field at Wallace Wade Stadium) ... The Blue Devils are just 1-4 versus Pittsburgh since the Panthers joined the ACC, with the lone victory coming in the form of a 51-48 double OT decision at Heinz Field in 2014
• Duke enters the weekend ranking fifth in the ACC in pass efficiency (140.7) ... The Blue Devils have thrown a league-low four INTs (tied with 3 other teams) while tossing 17 scoring passes, the second-highest total in the conference behind only Boston College (19)
• The Duke offense features three players — TE Davis Koppenhaver (5), WR Johnathan Lloyd (4) & WR T.J. Rahming (4) — who have 4+ TD receptions each

• Dating back to the 2013 season, the Blue Devils are 39-24 (.619) in their last 63 regular season games
• With a pair of tackles behind the line of scrimmage versus Virginia, Duke LB Joe Giles-Harris increased his career TFL total to 29.5 in 32 games ... With one more stop for lost yardage, the Nyack, N.Y., native will become the 13th player in Duke history to reach the 30.0 TFL plateau ... Former Duke DT Chris Combs (1996-99) is the school’s career leader with 57.5 TFL.
• Duke QB Daniel Jones has thrown five touchdown passes of 20+ yards this season – to five different receivers in TE Noah Gray (23 yards vs. Virginia Tech), WR Johnathan Lloyd (52 yard vs. Northwestern), WR T.J. Rahming (48 yards vs. Georgia Tech), WR Chris Taylor (46 yards vs. Virginia) & WR Aaron Young (25 yards vs. Army West Point).
• Two weeks ago at Georgia Tech, WR T.J. Rahming became the fourth player in Duke history to reach the 200-grab plateau, joining Jamison Crowder (283), Conner Vernon (283) & Donovan Varner (207) ... In 44 career games, Rahming has 208 receptions for 2,424 yards and nine TDs
