DURHAM, N.C. – The 2016 Blue Devils boasted two standout middle blockers in First Team All-ACC and AVCA East Coast All-Region selections Leah Meyer and Jordan Tucker.

2016 marked the first season Duke placed two middle blockers on All-ACC teams in the same season since Becci Burling and Amanda Robertson accomplished the feat in 2010.

Meyer and Tucker were dominant for Duke in 2016, combing for 643 kills and a .345 hitting percentage. Tucker led the Blue Devils with a career-best 387 kills, while Meyer also topped 300 kills with 316 this past season.

Both Meyer and Tucker ranked in the top 10 in the ACC in hitting percentage. Tucker’s career-best .358 clip was good for third in the league, while Meyer’s .333 mark ranked eight.
