DURHAM, N.C. – In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Blue Devils have partnered with the Side-Out Foundation to take part in the Dig Pink® Movement, hosting a fundraiser this weekend to support the development of treatments for stage IV breast cancer patients.
Both home matches this weekend – Friday, October 12 against Clemson and Sunday, October 14 versus Georgia Tech – are part of Duke’s Dig Pink initiative. If you would like to support the Blue Devils’ effort, please consider making a donation.
About Dig Pink®
Dig Pink® is a nationwide movement to provide meaningful and impactful experiences for athletes while inspiring and empowering them to come together in support of the stage IV breast cancer community. Each year, hundreds of teams across the country (and some overseas) participate in Dig Pink®. Through programs like Dig Pink, Side-Out is harnessing the power and influence of sport to impact change by funding Side-Out’s very own clinical trial The Side-Out Protocol.
